Earthmole the Excadrill

Earthmole the Excadrill is a dual-type Ground/Steel Pokémon. It evolves from Drilbur starting at level 31. Earthmole has a dark brown body with diagonal, red splotches. Three markings are on his front, with two under each arm, and two on his back. He has short legs with small, narrow feet, each containing three toes. His small white face is long and thin, tipped by his pink nose. His eyes are set back, on either side of the bridge of the nose. Under them, on each side, are two thin, red stripes. A large blade roughly twice as large as his face extends from its forehead. The top of the blade contains two smaller blades, resembling fins. His arms are thick and have three large blades instead of fingers, with two smaller blades on top of the middle ones. On his knees, halfway down his arm, and just behind where his forehead meets its face, are small red spots. Earthmole can straighten his entire body, allowing him to spin like a drill. He has the ability to cut through iron and steel plating. He uses his excellent digging abilities to build complex tunnels for his nest at more than 300 feet below the surface. His tunneling can be both beneficial and harmful to humans, as it can help workers with his swift digging prowess, but he can be detrimental to underground structures, such as Subway tunnels. Earthmole, as a Drilbur, first met Caelan as a child after fighting some attacking Patrat and stealing their food as punishment. He challenged him and after being defeated countless times, Caelan finally managed to get the better of the Drilbur and got him tangled in some vines. Unfortunately, he was dangling over a cliff. Caelan saved him from a deadly fall and the two began training together. Drilbur won all of his matches through one-hit KOs, never taking a hit in the process. They eventually entered a tournament, where he evolved (or ultimized, as I call it) into Excadrill while battling Daniel's Druddigon and won, earning Caelan a streak of ninety-nine straight wins. Caelan, looking to get his 100th win against a Pokémon Master, challenged Olivia to a battle which she happily accepted. Earthmole put up a good fight against Olivia's powerful Raichu twins, Raichu and Sparky, but he found himself taking hits for the first time. Sparky cheated and soon electrocuted the Excadrill to a near-death experience, and Earthmole, angered of his opponents cheating and thinking he had left Caelan down, never spoke to him or Buzz since, although his love, caring and loyalty was unharmed. Earthmole may be the silent type, but in reality, Earthmole is a very proud Pokémon who is very caring towards his Trainer. However, after a devastating defeat, he became very upset to the point of hiding his face from Caelan for years and distrustful of his advice in battle, fearful that it would make him lose again. He later reassured himself after learning a new attack and opened up to his Trainer once again. Excadrill, as a Drilbur, was shown to be somewhat of a bully when he stole apples and abused a group of Patrat. much like Ash's Snivy (his crush), Earthmole has a passion for battling and won't ever give up, no matter what the circumstances. He always looks for different ways to improve.
